Pro Brader Resources, with its brand name Brader Design, is a boutique digital marketing agency based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. Started from a freelance venture in 2013, our passion and expertise in the industry have led us to grow into an agency dedicated to offering custom website solution and digital marketing to small businesses, corporates and government agencies. Few days ago we met with Faizal Sohaimi to discuss web design project for his business 3i Consortium Sdn Bhd.
He is a seasoned sales expert who has had an incredible career journey with more than 20 years of experience as a sales person & sales manager across various industries like oil & gas, engineering and technology.
Here are 3 things that we learned from him when it comes to selling.
1 - Build Relationship First.
Before you sell anything to anyone, connect with them first and try to make a casual conversation. Treat them like a people, a friend, and not like a robot. Only then you’ll be able to gauge their problem and offer a solution.
2 - Its More About How You Sell Rather Than What You Sell
How many times you as a salesperson talks to people like reading a script? The truth is, nobody wants to be sold. You need to correct how you approach these people.
3 - Only Sell What You Can Deliver
Faizal shared with us that there are a few times in his career where he has been asked to “get the sale first, think about the how later”. The money offered is damn big, but it is against his principle and ethic. When you know the service / products offered cannot be delivered, you will not want sell. Because you care about your clients, and better stop it first rather than having to deal with the hassles later on.
As a startup business owner, we’re all doing sales everyday and we hope that these lessons can help everyone in the area.

What a fruitful meeting with Kausar Wealth team today!
They previously shared with us that they’ve been planning to revamp their website long time ago but were unsure of what to do, where to begin and with so many info that they want to update into the website, they’re wondering how to put it altogether in the most effective way.
